We read every message. A real person answers.
On your phone, and only on your phone. Menolyn has no accounts and no servers, so nobody — including us — can see what you log. The trade-off is that we can't recover your entries if you lose the device, so export a CSV now and then if your history matters to you.
If you restore the new phone from an iCloud or Google backup, Menolyn's data comes across with it. If you're setting the phone up fresh, export a CSV from the More tab first — it's a plain file you can keep anywhere.
Yes, as many as you like. Open More → My symptoms → Add my own, or add one straight from the logging screen. Star any symptom to give it a one-tap button on the Today screen.
Tap the entry on the Today screen or in the calendar, then change the time, intensity, triggers or note. You can also delete it from the same screen.
More → Doctor report → Create PDF report. It summarises the last three months on one page and opens the normal share sheet, so you can print it, save it to Files, or email it to yourself. The report is part of Menolyn Plus.
Free forever: logging symptoms and episodes, daily check-ins, the calendar, custom symptoms, cycle marking, and CSV export. Menolyn Plus adds the pattern insights (time-of-day heatmap, trigger connections, sleep comparison), the doctor-report PDF, and medication reminders.
Subscriptions are managed by the store, not by us. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Menolyn. On Android: Play Store → profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the renewal; you keep Plus until the period you've paid for ends, and all your logged data stays exactly where it is.
Open the Plus screen and tap "Restore purchases" — that re-checks your store account. If it still doesn't appear, email us with the store receipt and we'll sort it out.
No. It's optional and off unless you turn it on. If you do enable it, Menolyn only reads sleep data to fill in your daily check-in, and that data never leaves your device. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app or in Menolyn's settings.
No — and no app honestly can. Menolyn keeps an accurate record of what you're experiencing so that you and a doctor can interpret it together. It isn't a medical device and doesn't diagnose anything.
